Hi, I'm Cathrinee

I fell for crochet the way most people do — badly, and all at once. My first scarf came out shaped like a triangle. I kept going anyway.

I started The Hook Line Stitcher because I was tired of patterns that said “work evenly” and left me guessing. Everything here is written the way I wish someone had written it for me: every round spelled out, the mistakes named before you make them, and no pretending it works first time.

I still drop stitches. I still pull things back. That part never really stops — and it's honestly half the fun.
